Post 15 Membership

Still Serving America

Membership in the American Legion offers many benefits that include involvement in community programs, a voice in Washington DC, investment in children activities, education, and camaraderie. Of course, our main focus is for veteran’s rights and their families. Which is why we continue to lobby in Washington for veterans, current service men and women, and Americanism. The American Legion is the largest veteran’s organization.

The American Legion also offers Member Discount and Benefits through our National Organization: Insurance and Health Services, Financial Services, Travel Discounts, Moving and Home Discounts including Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Dell Computers, Days Inn, Budget Rent a Car, and many more. The involvement in the Pennsylvania American Legion can mean many things to many Legionnaires. The Programs, Committees, and Events that we are involved in is as diverse as: politics and Legislative concerns, Children and Youth programs, Community Service, Legion Baseball, and being involved in the solution for Homeless Veteran.

We’re veterans just like you who care about America, veterans and their families and our nation’s youth. The Legion is a powerful voice in Washington dedicated to preserving the rights we’ve all earned – and were promised – by our service to the nation we love.

The Pennsylvania American Legion is always there for you and your family – whether it is when we lobby in Washington or at our 800+ local American Legion Posts throughout Pennsylvania. Just like you, we’re “Still Serving America!”

Largest Department of The American Legion

The American Legion is the nation’s largest, most influential, effective and dependable advocate of veteran affairs. Since 1919, Legionnaires have fought for the rights of servicemen and women. Today we stand as 2.7 million members with over 200,000 Legionnaires from The Department of Pennsylvania.

If you have served honorably during any eligible war eras or are on active duty today, serving honorably, become a member of The Pennsylvania American Legion!
