Due to some misunderstanding between our contractor and the waynesboro boro code enforcement officer we have had a few setbacks beginning construction of our new building. We have met with the town council and the planning commission already and are meeting with the zoning board this week. Once we get things straightened out we will give our members information for the actual construction start date. We have been given a finish time for completion of the new building of mid December 2019 and hope to make that completion date. Any questions please send email to commanderwaynesborolegion@gmail.com. Thank you very much, Don Kauffman Jr,, Commander

Waynesboro Legion building to be razed!
Work to begin next week, on or about February 7th, to raze the American Legion! This will be the first step in rebuilding Our Post! Please, if at all possible, allow the crews extra room while the work is being done! The quicker we can clean up the remnants of the fire, the quicker we can decide our next step!
Temporary Office Now Open!
We now have our temporary office open and it is located at 353 South Potomac Street, Waynesboro.
Our phone number is still 717-762-5520
Dues are being accepted at this location.
